What they say:
"Bicycling Magazine, March 2008 - "You can roll into town with grace and elegance on Schwinn's Madison. Its old-school track flair not only looks sharp, with classic touches such as a brazed-chrome fork crown, but also has a steel frame though enough to handle the most brutal lock-ups, and the bolt-on wheels are more theft resistant than the quick-release types. The singlespeed simplicity means little maintenance and low upkeep costs - all for less than the price of a nice set of road wheels.""

It's my commuter,
It's my commuter, bar-hopper, and lately, my group ride rig. It rides smooth, even on our pot-holed lined streets and cobble stoned alley ways, and gets-up-and-goes whenever I begin to mash. I bought it new for $450 and would recommend it to anyone. Did I mentioned the sweet blue paint with chrome accents? Love it. Hats off to Schwinn for making my FrankenFixie a distant memory.
