Yestoday i ordered a replacment wheel with a fixie hub. can anyone give me advice on the following.....
a how do you take sharp bends with a fixie ?
b how mount and dismount ?
c how do you cope with potholes and other lumps and bumps in the roads if you cant go round them ?
d and finally when the lights change to red how do you stop ?
hope you can help, thanks . mick

I'm riding mine with a single speed hub for now. I tried fixed for 30mins but am worried of riding with traffic and having to stop quickly.

im pretty sure youve learned

im pretty sure youve learned by now but if you havent
a. try not to take extremely sharp bends cause a majority of the time it wont turn out to great

b. idk what you mean by this exactly but if your reffering to getting off well its common sense once you see what your dealing with

c. i shift my balance and weight either bak when the front is going over the bump then forward when the back is going over the bump

d.you could skid but if youre going to fast to process the skid you could hop or sidesweep skid or if it comes to it just take the red if it looks clear =D
